What kind of material is Nectar Premier made from?
We created the Nectar Premier with five performance layers, including a poly-blend cover with polyethylene, which provides that cool-to-the-touch sensation to keep you cooler while you sleep. The Nectar Premier’s foam layers include a 3-inch gel-infused memory foam with phase change material to help you sleep cool, a 3-inch soft transition foam for that “just right” feeling, and a 7 inch firm base foam, all supported and held tightly together by our bottom cover layer. The Nectar Premier mattress has been specifically designed to create the perfect balance of firm support and soft, cradling comfort. Additionally, all of the foams used in the Nectar mattress are CertiPUR-US® certified.
Can the Nectar Premier mattress be folded for transport?
Our compression process to get your Nectar Premier into the box and shipped straight to your door uses roller presses which provide the approximate force of 1000lbs per square inch in order to compress your Nectar to be ready for vacuum-packing. Once it has expanded, we do not advise folding it for travel as it wasn’t designed to be refolded in its decompressed state.
Are the foams in the Nectar Premier mattress CertiPUR-US® Certified?
All the foams we’ve used to create the Nectar Premier Mattress meet CertiPUR-US® standards for content, emissions, and durability, and are analyzed by independent, accredited laboratories. Nectar’s foams are free of ozone depleters, TCEP flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde, phthalates. Our foams have also shown low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality.
How firm is the Nectar Premier mattress?
Nectar Premier is plush but highly supportive. We rate Nectar at a 6.5 on a 1-10 scale if 1 is a feather pillow and 10 is a cement floor. Nectar is designed for perfect long term support with true top layer comfort.
How is edge support on the Nectar Premier?
We designed the Nectar Premier to provide consistent and firm support edge to edge. Unlike some traditional spring mattresses that may sag or dip at the edge or in the middle - wherever you consistently put a lot of weight - Nectar’s amazing foam technology means that it always gives a consistent and perfect firmness, from the outer corners right up to the middle.
Will Nectar Premier smell or “Off-Gas” when opened?
Nectar foams are of exceptional quality and off-gassing is usually very limited or non-existent. If there’s a faint smell of foam upon opening, this should dissipate quickly, and is simply the smell of the new foam as it expands.
What if the mattress compresses and forms impressions?
In the unlikely event your mattress shows signs of compression or impression, no need to worry since Nectar’s Forever Warranty™ has you covered! If a verified impression of 1.5 inches or more is found on your Nectar Premier mattress, we will either repair or replace your Nectar Premier for free! If you experience this, simply reach out to our customer success team and they can help you through the warranty claim submission process. This Forever Warranty™ will last for as long as you’ve got your Nectar Premier mattress, whether it’s 10 years or 100. We’ve got you!
How thick should a mattress be?
Depending on the combination of foams, coils, latex, and covers, mattresses will vary in height. The varying levels of thickness can sometimes be used to tell you how comfortable your mattress will be, and we’ve found that the ideal thickness for all our Nectar mattresses falls between 12 and 14 inches. The Nectar Premium is 13 inches of specifically designed premium mattress in order to get you the best night’s sleep possible.
How does the Nectar mattress feel?
Nectar Premier has been designed specifically with comfort in mind; whether you sleep on your front, back, or side. The mattress’ CertiPUR-US® Certified foams and breathable, cooling poly-blend cover work together to give you the best sleep experience we could imagine! The Nectar Premier can help keep you cool, evenly distribute your weight, and contour to your unique shape to help relieve pressure points and fatigued muscles. On a firmness scale of 1 to 10, we designed Nectar Premier to provide a medium-firm 6.5 feel, or, as we like to call it, the sleep sweet spot.
