What kinds of materials is Nectar Premier Copper made from?
We created the Nectar Premier Copper with five performance layers to give you a supported and comfortable night’s sleep.The cover of the Nectar Premier Copper has been woven with a poly-blend, including polyethylene, and real copper fibers, which helps provide a cool-to-the-touch sensation known to keep you cooler while you sleep. A 4-inch gel-infused memory foam layer to contour to your body and help you ease into a relaxing night’s sleep as well as phase change material to help keep you cool. A 1-inch support layer of soft transition foam for that “just right” feeling. And finally a 9 inch firm base foam to ensure the stability of your mattress, all supported and held tightly together by our bottom cover layer. The Nectar Premier Copper mattress has been specifically designed to create the perfect balance of firm support and soft, cradling comfort. All of the foams used in the Nectar mattress are CertiPUR-US® certified.
Can the Nectar Premier Copper mattress be folded for transport?
Our compression process to get your Nectar Premier Copper into the box and shipped straight to your door uses roller presses which provide the approximate force of 1000lbs per square inch in order to compress your Nectar to be ready for vacuum-packing. Once it has expanded, we do not advise folding it for travel as it wasn’t designed to be refolded in its decompressed state.
Are the foams in the Nectar Premier Copper mattress CertiPUR-US® Certified?
All the foams we’ve used to create the Nectar Premier Copper Mattress meet CertiPUR-US® standards for content, emissions, and durability, and are analyzed by independent, accredited laboratories. Nectar’s foams are free of ozone depleters, TCEP flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde, phthalates. Our foams have also shown low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality.
How firm is the Nectar Premier Copper mattress?
Nectar Premier Copper is plush but highly supportive. We rate Nectar at a 6.5 on a 1-10 scale if 1 is a feather pillow and 10 is a cement floor. Nectar is designed for perfect long term support with true top layer comfort.
How is edge support on the Nectar Premier Copper?
We designed the Nectar Premier Copper to provide consistent and firm support edge to edge. Unlike some traditional spring mattresses that may sag or dip at the edge or in the middle - wherever you consistently put a lot of weight - Nectar’s amazing foam technology means that it always gives a consistent and perfect firmness, from the outer corners right up to the middle.
Will Nectar Premier Copper smell or “Off-Gas” when opened?
Nectar foams are of exceptional quality and off-gassing is usually very limited or non-existent. If there’s a faint smell of foam upon opening, this should dissipate quickly, and is simply the smell of the new foam as it expands.
What if the mattress compresses and forms impressions?
In the unlikely event your mattress shows signs of compression or impression, no need to worry since Nectar’s Forever Warranty™ has you covered! If a verified impression of 1.5 inches or more is found on your Nectar Premier Copper mattress, we will either repair or replace your Nectar Premier Copper for free! If you experience this, simply reach out to our customer success team and they can help you through the warranty claim submission process. This Forever Warranty™ will last for as long as you’ve got your Nectar Premier Copper mattress, whether it’s 10 years or 100. We’ve got you!
How thick should a mattress be?
Depending on the combination of foams, coils, latex, and covers, mattresses will vary in height. The varying levels of thickness can sometimes be used to tell you how comfortable your mattress will be, and we’ve found that the ideal thickness for all our Nectar mattresses falls between 12 and 14 inches. The Nectar Premier Copper is 14 inches of specifically designed premium mattress in order to get you the best night’s sleep possible.
